So pleased to learn that I'm not a lone voice in the wilderness after all . . .! Sounds as though it's all going so well that you'll be able to do a reprint with a really good cover before long anyway.

I'm now more concerned than I was about the cover for my book. He gave me the book-buyers line last week.

I'm having a debate about it at my blog - please have a look.

As the days pass I'm starting to feel increasingly sympathetic towards Idle Tom the publisher. How long will it be before he starts screening his calls in case it's an Edinburgh number he's come to know only too well...?

I liked the cover. And actually, it does what it says on the tin. If the story wasn't about a torrid romance then I'd wonder why there was a kissing couple on the front but as it is then why not?
