I’m planting this picture in the blog because I’ve just discovered a bizarre figure from my Flickr pictures.
I signed on to Flickr about a month or so ago and downloaded on a few tasty pictures. And - dolt that I am - I’d imagined that what the punters might like to look at were some lovely pix of my darling boys Dexter and Geordie.
Joke!
No-one had the slightest interest whatsoever in gawping at photos of my boys.
Nor, for that matter, in looking at those misty-eyed pictures of myself.
No - of the 40 odd pix on Flickr, the two biggest hits by far were of me (looking deranged) and my darling wife Margot (looking like the Siren that she is).
And I wondered … I wondered if I ought to be catering to this market a little more. Maybe fewer pix of the kids. More of the wife.
And, just possibly, none of me at all.
But first a little experiment. It’s me with the "The Chinless Wonders" - also known as "Friends of Bill". As any fule can see, to a man they look like posh Sloane Rangers who were doubtless members of the Bullingdon Club before turning into full-fledged Hooray Henrys …
